Acknowledgement of Country Workshop
Create a meaningful and authentic Acknowledgement of Country for your organisation or school under the guidance of Waveney Yasso.
Waveney runs workshops and consultations with schools, businesses, production companies & individuals to create new & insightful Acknowledgements of Country.
Under Waveney's leadership and with informed provocations she will unpack ideas of connecting with and understanding Country. Speaking to the local surroundings, using appropriate traditional names and history Waveney directs & facilitates culturally safe & knowledgable conversations. She then masterfully composes music in real time based on the conversations & words highlighted throughout the workshop to create a new Acknowledgement of Country song.
